During the 32 years David loved and cared for our sister/daughter Laura, we considered him our brother/son. David was a kind soul who never hesitated to help anyone in need. In his career as a lab technician he worked hard and was extremely dedicated. David had many talents and was well read. He especially enjoyed working on home improvements, reading books about airplanes and listening to the music of ACDC.
For the past nine months our family has fought along with David to find the best care and support. Family support included:
• My son, Joseph, who sought guidance from the doctors at the cancer center where he works in Florida.
• My Mom who drove from Florida to be here for David and Laura
• My brother, David and his wife, Marva, who made many trips from Delaware to take Laura to visit David, run errands and help around the house.
• My sister, Brenda, who made trips from Ellicott City to take Laura to visit David and run errands
• My sister, Betty, who did research to find the best doctors in the area and made long trips from Baltimore County to take Laura to visit David and run errands.
• A special thanks goes to my sister Loretta and her husband Richard. Their unwavering and constant support has been incredible. Not only did they make many trips to doctors' offices, hospitals, hospice, stores, pharmacies etc., they also worked with many doctors and nurses seeking the best care for David. In addition, they also spent many hours handling David's business affairs.
For the past nine months our family has witnessed the most courageous man fight for his life. Throughout this horrible ordeal David remained positive and continued to be a pleasant, kind and caring person. David, you are a class act. Our hearts are heavy; you will be missed.
Love,
Joanne

Although David was called at an early age it is not a time to say goodbye to him but a time to say we will see you later. To those of us who knew him we knew that he was a special man very kind and helpful while he was with us. While we will miss him here on this earth we know that he is now in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ and is now without pain or suffering. We will see him again in Glory. Peace is now with him. David we will see you again.
